Welcome to our Directions page! We’re thrilled to have you join us at our venue located at Pensford Memorial Hall, Pensford, Bristol BS39 4HW. We’ve taken the time to prepare comprehensive guides on how to reach us from various starting points including Bristol Airport, Hartcliffe, and Bristol City Centre. For your convenience, we have instructions for reaching us by car, public transport, and even cycling. We have parking passes avaiable for £10, though please be aware this spaces are limited.

Please note there is no other parking available in Pensford, if you are driving to the event you’ll need a car parking pass.

Directions from Hartcliffe, Bristol.

By Car:

1. Head southwest on Bishport Avenue toward Wroughton Drive.
2. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A4174 slip road.
3. Merge onto A4174.
4. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A37 heading to Pensford/Shepton M.
5. Continue on A37. Take New Road to your destination in Publow.
6. Turn right onto New Road.
7. Continue onto Blackrock Ln.
8. Continue onto Blackrock Lane.
9. Turn left onto Publow Ln, your destination will be on the right.

By Cycling:

1. Head southwest on Bishport Avenue toward Wroughton Drive.
2. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A4174 slip road.
3. Merge onto A4174.
4. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A37 heading to Pensford/Shepton M.
5. Continue on A37. Take New Road to your destination in Publow.
6. Turn right onto New Road.
7. Continue onto Blackrock Ln.
8. Continue onto Blackrock Lane.
9. Turn left onto Publow Ln, your destination will be on the right.

By Public Transport:

As an example:

1. Walk to the nearest bus stop from your location in Hartcliffe.
2. Take the 75 bus from Hartcliffe, Bishport Avenue to Bristol City Centre, Redcliffe Hill.
3. From Bristol City Centre, go to bus stop CP on Rupert Street.
4. Board the 672 bus towards Blagdon.
5. Get off at the Seymour Arms stop in Blagdon.
6. Wait at the same stop for the 672 bus going towards Broadmead.
7. Alight at the Chew Magna Post Office stop.
8. From the post office, it’s about a 15-minute walk to your destination. Head southeast on High St towards South Parade, continue onto Chew Rd, turn left onto Norton Lane, then after about half a mile, turn right onto Publow Lane. Your destination will be on the left.

Directions from Bristol Airport.

By Car:

1. Start from Bristol Airport, get on A38 heading north-east, towards Bristol.
2. Continue on A38. Take the B3130 exit towards Winford and Chew Magna.
3. At the Winford roundabout, take the third exit onto Pagans Hill, heading towards Chew Stoke.
4. Follow Pagans Hill into Chew Stoke and turn left onto Bilbie Road.
5. Follow Bilbie Road and turn left onto Chew Road.
6. Follow Chew Road onto Norton Lane.
7. After about half a mile, turn right onto Publow Lane, your destination will be on the left.

By Cycling:

1. From Bristol Airport, head north on North Side Road.
2. Turn left onto A38, then take the first right onto Downside Road.
3. Follow Downside Road until you reach Winford, then turn right onto B3130.
4. In Winford, continue onto Felton Lane. Stay on Felton Lane as it becomes Kingdown Road and leads into Winford.
5. From Winford, follow the B3130 onto Chew Road, which becomes Norton Lane.
6. Turn right onto Publow Lane, your destination will be on the left.

By Public Transport:

Public transport from Bristol Airport to Pensford is not very direct and can be quite time-consuming. It may involve a combination of buses and walking, with possible routes changing based on the time of day and week. Always check the latest routes and schedules at http://www.travelinesw.com.

As an example:

1. From Bristol Airport, take the A1 Bus towards Bristol.
2. Get off at Bristol Bus & Coach Station.
3. Walk to Marlborough Street (Stop Mb), and take the 376 bus towards Street.
4. Get off at Belluton (Stop NW-bound).
5. Walk about 1 mile to 10 Publow Ln, Pensford, Bristol BS39 4HW.

Please note that it is a substantial walk from the bus stop to your destination. Consider arranging for a taxi or rideshare for the last leg of your journey if necessary.

Directions from Bristol City Centre.

1. Start from Bristol City Centre and join the A37, heading south towards Wells.
2. Continue on the A37 until you reach the Chelwood roundabout.
3. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto A368 towards Bishop Sutton.
4. Before reaching Bishop Sutton, turn right onto Bonhill Road, heading towards Chew Valley Lake.
5. Follow Bonhill Road, bending right, then take the next left onto Walley Lane.=
6. Take a right onto the private Waterworks Road, following the signs for the main entrance and car park.
7. Finally, from the Waterworks Road, turn onto Publow Lane and your destination is on the right.

By Cycling from Bristol City Centre:

1. From Bristol City Centre, head to Redcliffe Way/A4.
2. Continue to follow A4 and go through one roundabout.
3. Turn right onto Redcliffe Way/A38 and continue to follow A38.
4. Use the right lane to take the A4174 slip road to Ring Road.
5. Keep right at the Y junction, follow signs for A4174/Hengrove/Brislington and merge with A4174.
6. Turn right onto Stockwood Rd/A4175.
7. Turn left onto Pensford Hill/A37 and continue to follow A37.
8. Slight right onto New Road.
9. Turn left onto Publow Lane, and you’ll find your destination on your right.

Make sure to follow National Cycle Network routes when possible for the safest and most bike-friendly roads. You can secure your bikes at the drop-off point on Walley Lane.

By Public Transport from Bristol City Centre:

1. From Bristol City Centre, go to bus stop CP on Rupert Street.
